Many Blessings To You.

Hi friends. I love creating with flowers and adding water coloring to die cuts is just so fun.

I am featuring the pretty Daffodil Dies paired with the Parquet Cover Plate.

1. I started by smooshing Taffy and Fruit Punch reactive inks on a craft mat. Spritzed with water and "picked up" the ink with a panel of Water Colored Paper. On another panel I did the same using used Key Lime Fizz and Apple Green reactive inks.

2. I dried the panels each time and picked up more ink depending on the colors I wanted.

3.Once the panels were completely dried, I die cut the Daffodils from the water colored panels and assembled the flowers.

4. Set those aside and then die cut the Parquet Cover Plate from Dove White Cardstock.

5. I then adhered the cover plate on an A2 panel of  Kiwi Cardstock using Precision Glue.

6. The sentiment from the Spring Bunny Stamp & Die set was stamped on Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, applied with White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with the coordinating die.

7. The flowers and sentiment were adhered with Precision Glue. I added a few gems from my stash to finish off the card.

Thank you for stopping by.

Sending Love

Hi friends. My card today features some fun products which I mixed and matched from Hero Arts June Fancy Dies of the Month, July Fancy Dies of the Month and Hero Studio June Card Kit of the Month

1. I started by inking the layering clouds from the June Kit onto Dove White Cardstock using Splash, Blue Hawaii, Purple Galaxy and Mist Core inks.

2. I then ink blended a piece of Dove White Cardstock with Taffy and Pool Party Reactive inks. Die cut the hot air balloon die included in the July Fancy Die of the Month from that panel.

3. I die cut the June Fancy Die from Dove White Cardstock and used copic markers to color the plant, branches and bird.

4. The sentiment from the kit was stamped on Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, applied with White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with coordinating die.

5. The tiny flowers from the Butterfly Foliage Fancy Dies set was die cut and colored with copic markers.

6. I adhered Vellum Paper behind the window using Precision Glue before assembling all the elements onto the card base.

Sending You Waves of Happiness

Hi friends. With summer in full swing I decided to create a fun and sweet beach scene for my card.

I'm featuring the Hero Arts July Card Kit of the Month.

1. I stamped the images for my scene onto a panel of Dove White Cardstock with Aegean, Cornflower, Dusty Blue, Espresso, Granite, Passion Flower and Sand Core inks using a stamping platform to get good results.

2. I then gently blended the images with the coordinating ink colors with a Blending Brush.

3. After the ink blending, I stamped the boat and bird images with Black Intensified ink.

4. With the scene stamping done, I die cut the panel using one of the Nesting Postage Stamps Infinity Dies.

5. From that die cut panel, I took a smaller die from the Postage Stamps set and die cut 4 Postage Stamp sizes.

6. To add dimension to each of the postage stamps, I die cut additional stamp sizes from plain white cardstock and adhered each to the stamped images using Precision Glue.

7. I set those die cuts aside and worked on my background. I die cut 2 of the Chain Linked Fancy Die from Dove White Cardstock and adhered to my card base using Precision Glue.

8. The sentiment was stamped on Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, applied with White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with coordinating die.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hero Studio - July Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hi friends. It's the release of Hero Arts July Hero Studio Card Kit & Extras.

We are celebrating with a blog hop and giveaway!

There is amazing inspiration you'll find throughout the hop. Leave comments along the way!

One lucky winner will receive a $50 Hero Arts gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, July 7th at 11:59pm PT, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

My card features the Layering Stamp sets and dies from the Kit which includes all the elements seen here.

Let's get started on how I created my card.

1. Stamp clouds with Passion Flower and Dusty Blue Core Inks on Dove White Card stock.

2. Stamp waves with Deep Ocean, Aquatic and Summer Sky Core Inks.

3. Randomly ink area around waves with Clear Embossing & Watermark ink Ink, apply Sand Embossing Powder and heat set.

4. Lightly ink over clouds with Butter Bar Core ink.

5. Stamp the tiny beach houses, shells, balloon and girl with Dusty Blue, Passion Flower, Deep Ocean and Green Hills Core Inks. Cut with coordinating dies.

6. Stamp the little girls holding hands with Intensified Black Ink and cut with coordinating die.

7. Stamp the birds directly on the inked panel with Intensified Black Ink

8. Stamp the sentiment on Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, apply White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with coordinating die.

9. Adhere die cuts and sentiment with Precision Glue.

Along with the release of the kit and new subscription options, there are some extra products which can all be found here.

I am featuring the Layering Stencil of the Month.

I used Paradise, Aquatic, Deep Ocean, Tangerine, Pumpkin and Butter Bar Core Inks with this sweet  fish stencil, overlapping the inks to add a fun blend of colors.

I thought a shaker card design will be perfect for this stencil. I did however make an easier version of a shaker card by inserting the inked panel into a clear packet (The same packets that stamp sets come in), added sequins, closed the packet by adding double sided tape to the back and adhered to my card front.

I die cut one of the Arches Infinity Dies from Adriatic Card Stock for the front of the clear insert for the window and adhered with Precision Glue.

I stamped the sentiment on Adriatic Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, applied White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with coordinating die.

Thank you for stopping by and have fun hopping!
