My Monthly Hero May Kit Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hi friends. It's the release of Hero Arts May My Monthly Hero Kits & Stand Alone Products.

We are celebrating with a blog hop and giveaway!

There is amazing inspiration you'll find throughout the hop. Leave comments along the way!

One lucky winner will receive a $50 Hero Arts gift card, drawn from the comments left across the hop. Enter by Sunday, May 12th at 11:59pm PT, and the winner will be announced on the Hero Arts blog the following week.

It’s our birthday! We are 50 years old this month, so we’re pulling out all the stops for a grand celebration! Within the kit this month you will find fun new designs, as well as tried and true favorites. We’re giving you even more to say a special thank you for supporting us all these years, and for helping to make our kit program so successful. Many ""Yays"" And a big ""Congrats"" to us and to you!

My card features the May 2024 Classic Kit which includes all the elements seen here.

The Premium Kit includes additional elements to extend the potential for more cards and projects - even more Creativity in the Box!

I absolutely love the cake image in this kit.

1. Stamp cake, strawberries and small flower images from the kit using Black Intensified Ink on Dove White Cardstock.

2. Color with copic markers and die cut with coordinating dies.

3. On an A2 panel of Paradise Cardstock, I stamped the Candle images, Happy and Birthday sentiments using Contour Ink which is included in the kit. The stamped images add subtle interest to the background!

4. Die cut that panel using the Arches Infinity Dies. I die cut another panel from Peony Cardstock.

5. Adhered the stamped cardstock on the Peony die cut and adhere the colored die cuts using Precision Glue on the front.

6. Stamp the sentiment with Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink on Peony cardstock, apply with Rose Gold Embossing Powder, heat set and cut with coordinating die.

7. Adhered everything on an A2 panel of Paradise Cardstock.

8. Lastly, add Yellow, Pink and Turquoise Lacquer Pen to the center of the flowers. Add a few sequins to finish off the card design.

Along with the release of the kits, there are some stand alone products which can be used with the kits or on their own. A list of the May Stand Alone Products can be found here.

I'm featuring the Balloon Bunch Fancy Dies.

1. I die cut the balloon dies 3 times from Shamrock, Azalea and Mustard cardstock.

2. I cut the balloons and adhered each color where I wanted them for my design, using Precision Glue.

3. Using sentiments from the Your Day Messages Stamp Set, I stamped the balloons with Clear Embossing and Watermark Ink, applied with White Embossing Powder and Gold Embossing powder, and heat set.

4. Die cut the tiny bow from Gold Glitter paper and adhered to the balloons with Precision Glue.

5. Die cut the Nesting Postage dies from Ultra Pink Cardstock using the A2 size for the border.

6. On a panel of Dove White Cardstock I inked Azalea, Butter Bar and Fresh Lawn Core Inks.

7. Using a green, yellow and pink copic marker I added dots randomly on the panel.

8. I adhered the Balloon Die on the panel and added additional ink as needed.

Thank you for stopping by and have fun hopping!
