Merry Christmas

Hi friends. It's the launch of Hero Arts Holiday 2024 Release.

We are celebrating with a blog hop and giveaway!

There is amazing inspiration you'll find throughout the hop. Leave comments along the way!

We will be giving away TWO $50 gift cards, drawn from comments left across the hop. Deadline to enter is Wednesday, August 28th at 11:59pm PT. The winners will be announced on the Hero Arts blog.

Let's get started on how I created my card.

1. I cut a piece of Dove White Cardstock to 3 3/4 x 5.

2. Using a Medium Blending Brush I ink blended the panel using Splash Reactive Ink.

3. I added splatters of water droplets to reactivate the ink.

4. For added texture I splattered with White Acrylic Spray and used a copic marker to make 'dots' on the ink blended panel.

5. I then stamped the Color Layering Holly Branch onto Dove White Cardstock with Black Intensified Ink. Die cut with the coordinating die.

6. I colored the Holly Branch die with copic markers.

7. I stamped the sentiment with Black Intensified ink on the bottom right corner of the ink blended panel.

8. The Holly Branch Die Cut was then adhered using Precision Glue.

7. I added the ink blended panel to the base of an A2 sized card using foam adhesive for dimension.

8. Lastly I added Hero Arts Iridescent Earthsafe Glitter to the berries.

Enjoy Hopping!

Sending Special Birthday Wishes

Hi friends. These Birds of Paradise flowers from Hero Arts were a delight to create with.

1. I cut a piece of Dove White Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

2. Using a Medium Blending Brush I ink blended the panel using Orchid Core Ink

3. For added texture I splattered with White Acrylic Spray and used a copic marker to make 'dots' on the ink blended panel.

4. I used 2 Nesting Oval Infinity dies to die cut the thin Oval shape with Dove White Cardstock.

5. After adhering the oval die cut with Precision Glue, I set aside the panel.

6. To make my die cut flowers, I started by taking Luxe White Watercolor Paper and spraying separate cardstock panels with Green+Shimmer Metallic spray (for leaves) and Orange+Shimmer, Royal Purple+Gold (for the flowers).

7. Once the panels were completely dry, I die cut the leaves from the green panels. I did the same for the flowers.

8. The sentiment from the August Clear Set was stamped on Pitch Black Cardstock with Clear Embossing Ink, applied with White Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut with coordinating die.

9. I adhered the flowers and leaves with Precision Glue and lastly added Hero White Pearls randomly across the panel.

You Color My World

Hi friends. My card today features Hero Arts Layering Stencil of the Month.

We all love rainbow colors and using them on a card is always fun. I knew that using colors of the rainbow was the perfect way to show off this gorgeous stencil.

1. I used CherryTangerineButter BarGreen HillsDusty Blue and Passion Flower Core Inks and started inking from the top left of my Dove White Cardstock panel.

2. I used Nautical Core Ink for the inking on stencils 3 and 4.

3. Die cut panel with the 3rd largest tag from the Tag Infinity Dies. I also die cut additional tags to adhere to the main tag for added dimension. I like adding dimension this way much more then adding foam tape.

4. Added ribbon through the tag before adhering to the stencil panel using Precision Glue

5. I die cut a leaf die from the kit with Dove White Cardstock, inked Green Hills Core Ink to add color.

6. The sentiment was stamped with Embossing Ink on Pitch Black cardstock, applied Gold Embossing Powder and heat set and cut with the coordinating die.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello

Hi friends. I am sharing a card that I made with dies that were included in the Hero Arts August Card Kit of the month.

Let's get started on how I created my card.

1. I started by smooshing Taffy and Fruit Punch reactive inks on a craft mat. Spritzed with water and "picked up" the ink with a panel of Water Colored Paper. On another panel I did the same using used Key Lime Fizz and Apple Green reactive inks.

2. I dried the panels each time and picked up more ink depending on the colors I wanted.

3.Once the panels were completely dried, I die cut the flowers, leaves and 2 thin strips and set aside.

4. I then trimmed a panel of Canary Cardstock and together with the strips of cardstock, adhered to a card base with Precision Glue.

5. I then applied Olive Wax with a Palette Knife through one of the leaf images on the stencil, all of which is included as part of the kit contents.

6. Once the wax was completely dry I added splatters with a brush by mixing a few drops of water with some of the wax.

7. I assembled the flowers and adhered them to the splattered background with Precision Glue.

8. I added few more splatters to the flowers and leaves.

9. The sentiment was stamped with Embossing Ink on Pitch Black cardstock, applied Gold Embossing Powder and heat set and cut with the coordinating die.

10. Added Pink Lacquer to the centers of the flowers to finish off the design.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
